Electronics and Interface

NEW Gboard Overview Gboard is a unique Arduino board which features a SIM900 GSM/GPRS module, an XBee socket, nRF24L01+ module interface and an ATMega328P controller. This board will add wireless XBee / nRF24L01+ control as well as GSM/GPRS connectivity to your projects. It’s great for anything from home automation to robot control. The possibilities are endless! Gboard can be used as a GSM/GPRS data transfer or wireless communication project development platform. Gboard support wide range power supply and Micro SD for mass storage. There are some 3pin electronic brick/ sensor brick interface breakout on board, it offer an easy way for a quick prototyping. The board requires FTDI basic board to upload sketch, you can use our Foca board to do it. Gboard can be powered by a mini USB, power Jack.   Requirement: Online CMS System enabling remote Call Centres to Capture and Administer Client Policy Information.
  Solution: Developed (on-going) a Live Web CMS System featuring Custom Business Process Modules, Group and User Administration, Reporting and Data Export.

• FMC: (jQuery Mobile, HTML5&CSS3, PhoneGap (Cordova), PHP, MySQL)

  Requirement: Mobile Smart Phone and Tablet Application able to upload Geo-tagged community issue related photo images, featuring an embedded Map, selectable image markers and a reporting mechanism for flagging issues as resolved. This coupled to a Back office CMS Web System for administration purposes.
  Solution: Developed (on-going) Android Smart Phone Application, live API for communication between the Smart Phone and Back office CMS Administration System.

Recent Projects and Solutions

• Reonet: (C#, Windows Mobile, MS SQL Compact, Bluetooth, Wireless, MySQL)

  Requirement: Integrate the Clients range of custom Wireless Data Loggers to their In-Field Hand Held Rugged Windows Mobile Devices used in the collection of Municipal Water Meter Readings and Ultrasonic Depth Sensors.
  Solution: Developed a Window Mobile Application for the Mobile PDA enabling data communication and download from in-field data loggers using Wireless data streaming as well as in-field calibration of their data logger and ultrasonic sensors.

  Requirement: Desktop Application to Process Excel and CSV files from In-Field Devices to their live Database.
  Solution: Developed a Windows Desktop Application featuring DropBox, Asynchronous File Processing, Reporting Charts and Data Export.

  Requirement: To Cache off-line Map Data to their Windows Mobile PDA’s for In-Field Route Maps and Geo-positioning used in collection of in-field Municipal Data.
  Solution: Developed a Windows Desktop and Windows Mobile Application featuring ability to store Maps in off-line cached mode. Map Preparation Application for area selection and route planning.

  Requirement: Solution to alleviate cash transactions within the Taxi Industry.
  Solution: In-Vehicle Touch Screen Electronic GSM Enabled Device, supported by a Barcode/Pin ticket Street Vendor Sales program.

  Requirement: To provide an Internal CMS System to collaborate on all internal Business Process Areas including HR Employee Information and Management, Time Keeping and Access control, Finance integration with Payroll, Reporting amongst other.
  Solution: Deployed Internal CMS System and developed Custom Module for each Business Process area.

  Requirement: Upgrade their existing Agriculture Irrigation Software User Interface for their range of Wireless Valve and Automation Controlled Transmitter/Receiver Modules.

• Loyalty Zone (Rippl): Requirement: Integrated System to manage Transfer/Transactions of Loyalty Points to Air-Time Bundles or Mixit Moola.
  Solution: Developed and API and Protocol for communication between 3rd party till points, internal Air-Time API and Mixit’s API’s. A Back office CMS System provided for various administration tasks.
